D-Creative Works — custom fine-line and illustrative tattoos in Amsterdam, by Dicle

Oh hey, you actually clicked the link.

…so who am I talking to?

Guess I should introduce myself.

I'm Dicle, a tattoo artist based in Amsterdam. My work lives somewhere between fine detail and bold statement — thin & bold lines, black & white illustrative tattoos, and sometimes a splash of colour when it's right for the piece.

I care about the details — the balance, the spacing, the way a line moves with your body — and I care about making tattoos that feel personal, not generic.

If you're after something one-of-a-kind that reflects both your personality and mine, you're in the right place. Let's make something permanent, on purpose.

Can I see some of your work?

Welcome to my dump. A mix of finished tattoos, healed pieces, sketches and whatever survived my own critique.

Ready? Let's get inked.

Tell me what you want (a detailed description), placement, and approximate size — in cm or with a reference. Cover-up? Include a clear photo of the old tattoo, no filters.

I'll reply with available dates, an estimate of session length, and the deposit to lock in your spot. We'll go over sketches beforehand, so you won't be walking in blind.

How do I book an appointment?

You can send a booking request right here, or just email or DM me with the basics: what you want, placement, and approximate size. After I get back to you, we can exchange reference pictures too. Cover-up? Include a clear photo of the old tattoo (no filters).

Once the deposit's in, your date is officially reserved — no backing out unless you're okay with losing it.

Can I bring my own design?

Yes — bring everything! I love references. But here's the thing: I'll redraw or adapt them so they fit my style and your anatomy. Small designs can lose detail when scaled down, and some compositions may need to be mirrored or tilted to sit correctly on the body.

If the design is another artist's exact piece, I won't take it on — I don't trace other people's work.

Do you do cover-ups?

Sometimes — it really depends. Old, dark, or heavily saturated tattoos are harder to cover and may require a larger, denser design (or laser removal first). Clear photos in good lighting, no filters, and I'll give you a realistic plan: cover-up, partial removal, or redesign.

What should I do before my appointment?

Before your session:

  • Eat a good meal and get plenty of rest the night before.
  • Stay hydrated — skin tattoos better when it's well-hydrated.
  • No alcohol or recreational drugs for at least 24 hours (they thin the blood).
  • Don't burn or aggressively tan the area.
  • Moisturise in the days before, but skip heavy oils the morning of.
  • Wear comfortable clothing with easy access to the area.

On specific medications or have a skin condition? Tell me before booking so I can advise.

How long will my tattoo take to heal?

Surface healing usually takes 2–3 weeks; full dermal healing can take a few months.

  • First 48–72h: keep the bandage/film on as instructed, then wash gently, pat dry, thin layer of balm.
  • Days 2–7: light scabbing and itching — don't pick.
  • Weeks 2–3: flaking finishes; lines may look muted until settled.
  • 1–3 months: deeper skin remodels into the final look.

While healing: no soaking, no heavy sweating, no direct sun. Once healed, SPF is your tattoo's best friend.

Important: spreading redness, yellow pus, increasing heat or fever isn't normal — contact me and seek medical advice.

How much does it cost?

Ah, the golden question. Honestly, it depends — is it a tiny "I promise I won't regret this" tattoo, or a full-arm commitment to my art? Size, detail, colour and placement all play a role. Send me your idea and body part, and I'll hit you with a price that won't make you cry (too much).

Think of it like dating: cheap and fast usually isn't the best option. A deposit locks in your spot; the rest you pay when we make your skin look awesome.

Do you offer touch-ups?

If something doesn't heal right, hit me up within a few months and I've got you covered. Small fixes are on the house; a rainbow explosion with a dozen colours might carry a small setup fee for the extra hustle.

What's your minimum charge?

My minimum is €80 — the opening/setup fee. Even a tiny tattoo needs the same sterilised setup, fresh needles, ink and cleaning as a big one.

That's me. Save my card — and when you're ready, you know where to find me.
